After an unmissable poster campaign and Oscar-night shenanigans, Sacha Baron Cohen’s THE DICTATOR is surely one of the year’s most-anticipated comedies. After the sublime BORAT and slight misfire BRUNO, THE DICTATOR takes a slightly different approach. Whilst much of the humour will still arise from the highlighting of cultural differences, this time around Cohen will not be making asses from the ignorant or unaware public. Instead, the comic actor is taking a more traditional approach, and has even inserted Anna Faris as a (sort of) love interest. As this trailer proves, however, it still looks utterly hilarious.

THE DICTATOR is directed by Larry Charles and arrives in UK cinemas 16th May.
