The farcical trailer below is for Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis’ upcoming satirical comedy, THE CAMPAIGN. Directed by Jay Roach (DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS), and co-written by Chris Henchy (THE OTHER GUYS) and Shawn Harwell (EASTBOUND AND DOWN), the film follows two rival North Carolina politicians, Cam Brady (Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Galifianakis). As the inadequate duo duke it out in a bid to become the next president, we see their ignorance and idiocy shine through in equal measure.
Ferrell, who is famed for his hilarious George W. Bush skits on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, is given a chance to poke fun at politics on the big screen, with a character who, admittedly, seems quite similar to the former US president. However, here at THN, we believe you cannot get too much of a good thing, so bring on that southern drawl and ridiculous lexicon.
THE CAMPAIGN, which co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Sarah Baker, Katherine LaNasa, Dylan McDermott, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, and Dan Aykroyd, is due to reach our shores on 28th September 2012.

Martin has been a film buff (or geek, if you prefer) for as long as he can remember. However, he lives and longs for storytelling of all kinds, and writes across numerous mediums to feed his insatiable appetite. He lives in north-west London, and his favourite films are, possibly: PAN'S LABYRINTH, THEY LIVE, PSYCHO, HIGH FIDELITY, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, STAND BY ME, SIDEWAYS and OFFICE SPACE.
