Watch! The Stylish And Thrilling New Trailer For ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

The brand new trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN starring Andrew Garfield is here…now! Over the past week, we’ve been given the window-smashing 3D-style poster and this morning the first, more official, teaser shots of Rhys Ifan’s baddie The Lizard. In this incarnation of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Peter Parker (Garfield) finds something that might help him to discover why his parents vanished when he was a kid. This journey then begins to put him on a path that collides with with Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), a former work colleague of his father.

After indulging in AVENGERS ASSEMBLE, we also were utterly spoiled by two remarkable trailers for the up-coming PROMETHEUS and another long-awaited finale…THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.  But wait, there’s more and it’s in the form of this great new trailer for all-new reboot of the legendary web-slinger-wall-crawler, Spider-man. Watch it right here, now!!!

 

So, what do you think?! This trailer, for me, shows a really interesting side to style from director Webb. It’s dark enough to keep it balanced in reality but also highly stylish and very purposefully narrative-led. Oh, and some great proper first shots of the Lizard! You know, this one might even hold its own in the arena and it also looks like it could actually work as 3D, properly. Let’s hope so!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is directed by the aptly named Marc Webb and opens on July 4^th. It also co-stars Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Irrfan Khan, Campbell Scott, C. Thomas Howell with Martin Sheen and Sally Field in this Sony Pictures release.
