With Ashton Kutcher already cast in the leading role for Joshua Michael Stern’s biopic on the influential Apple designer and inventor, it was only a matter of time before more actors would begin to engage in negotiations to join the production.
Just recently it has surfaced that THE BOOK OF MORMON star Josh Gad is set to be taking on the role of Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak. Written by Matt Whiteley the film follows Steve Jobs from hippie to technological genius and if a deal is made it will see Gad portray Wozniak circa 1975, during which time he was helping create the Apple I and II computer.
It would seem that Gad is a reasonable choice, his on screen and stage success has already seen him transfer to the co-creation and executive production of an NBC pilot, 1600 PENN, which will air later in the year.
