The last few days, many have spent hours trying to unlock a code within THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN’s viral website. Finally today, that code eventually unlocked a number of images and blueprints, most involving the design of Peter Parker’s new web-shooters as well as a mini-video clip.
In Marc Webb’s upcoming reboot of the iconic Marvel creation, we will see the character revert back to the original comic’s intricate man-made web shooters. The device is attached to Parker’s wrist, so he is able shoot his webs and swing from building to building.
Sam Raimi’s original trilogy had the teenage superhero bitten by a genetically-tampered spider, which led to his wall-crawling and web-spinning antics (web that he was able to shoot directly from his veins). This time Spider-Man has a little extra work to do, by designing these rather helpful accessories himself after his spider bite. Tale a look!
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Rhys Ifans, Sally Field, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott and swings into cinemas 4th July.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
