It’s been three years since Wes Anderson’s FANTASTIC MR FOX, and fans of the indie wunderkind are gagging for his new project, MOONRISE KINGDOM. Ahead of its screening at this year’s Cannes (where it will open the prestigious festival), the MOONRISE KINGDOM YouTube channel has released six clips of the highly-anticipated movie.
The film tells the story of two twelve-year-old sweethearts who run away from their New England town. When they disappear, various authorities try to track them down, throwing the community into chaos.
As ever with Anderson films, the director has brought together an eclectic cast, with returning regulars Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman joined by Harvey Keitel, Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand and Kara Hayward.
MOONRISE KINGDOM arrives in UK cinemas 25th May 2012.
