This last week we’ve been bombarded with a huge collection of character posters for action-sequel G.I. JOE: RETALIATION and also a Korean one-sheet. Today THN is able to bring you a couple more, plus the long-awaited full trailer for the follow-up to Stephen Sommers’ disappointing movie version of the famous cartoon series. This time the film is directed by Jon Chu but the major coup for this effort has been the acquisition of Bruce Willis and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Check out the UK Trailer:
Channing Tatum returns from the first film along with with Jonathan Pryce, Arnold Vosloo, Ray Park and Byung-hun Lee. Adrienne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, DJ Cortona and Walton Goggins supply the new blood with Willis and Johnson. G.I. JOE: RETALIATION hits cinemas 3rd August.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
