CRAZY STUPID LOVE directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are joining forces again after making a deal with Warner Bros to direct a new film they have written called FOCUS.
The director duo will be joined by yet another CRAZY STUPID LOVE crew member, producer Denise DiNovi. And to make this a perfect reunion, rumours are spreading that they hope leads Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone to play the title roles in FOCUS as well.
FOCUS follows the story of a veteran con man who finds himself romantically involved with a newcomer to the deceiving business. But in this business, where their daily job involves lying and cheating, they set their relationship on a dangerous path, one that haunts them when they meet again in the future.
Collaboration CRAZY STUPID LOVE was a great success with critics and audiences alike, winning a best actor nomination for Ryan Gosling at the Golden Globes, and we are hoping that FOCUS will have the wit and charm of all of Ficarra’s and Requa’s previous films.
