Ahead of its release this summer Paramount have been kind enough to show us three more stills of the upcoming, action bonanza G.I JOE RETALIATION. The film will be the second instalment of the extremely disappointing first film G.I JOE: THE RISE OF THE COBRA. However, initial reactions post trailer seem much more positive.
The sequel sees the G.I Joe army struggle to battle with both the government – who are threatening their very existence – and their archenemy Cobra. Responsible for a string of the Joe’s deaths is a top Cobra assassin; forcing the remaining G.Is to band together and strike back.
G.I JOE RETALIATION is directed by Jon M Chu and stars Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Byung-hun Lee, Elodie Yung, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Jonathan Pryce, D.J. Cotrona, Walton Goggins and Ray Park. Release date for the UK is 3rd August 2012.
