Enter The Dark World Of ‘Errors Of The Human Body’ In New Indie Teaser Trailer

We always appreciate a film that’s slightly off the typical grid of reality and ERRORS OF THE HUMAN BODY looks rather stylish in a brilliantly twisted way. This indie project is the debut from director Eron Sheean and is based in the world of human genetics but with consequential unusual goings-on. Sheean is no stranger though to exploring the darker side of life and is perhaps best known as the writer of Xavier Gens’ apocalyptic horror THE DIVIDE.

ERRORS OF THE HUMAN BODY was shot on location at Germany’s Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetic and was part-funded through Kickstarter last year. It was co-written by Sheean with Shane Danielsen, the latter being the former director of the Edinburgh Film Festival, and features an international cast that includes Michael Eklund (THE DIVIDE), Karoline Herfurth (PERFUME: THE STORY OF A MURDERER) and Tomas Lemarquis (NOI THE ALBINO).

The film focuses on Doctor Geoff Burton (Michael Eklund), who takes up research position at a scientific institute in Dresden, Germany. There he discovers that his work on a former colleague’s project, a human regeneration gene, could help make something miraculous occur following a personal tragedy that has haunted him for years.

This feels like one to keep an eye out for and you can also check out their official site here. Now then, dive into their world with this teaser trailer:

ERRORS OF THE HUMAN BODY will be doing the indie circuit soon, we hope, but for up-to-date information simply head to their website.
