Due for release next year DOROTHY OF OZ is an animated continuation of the classic tale WIZARD OF OZ. The story sees Dorothy (Glees Lea Michelle) return to Oz following Kansas’ devastation only to find her old friends the Scarecrow (Dan Aykroyd), Tin Man (Kelsey Grammer) and Cowardly Lion(James Belushi) in great trouble along with the rest of Oz.
We have some new images for you to ‘Oz-out’ on, and mighty impressive they are as well. With lush colouring and a story that can’t fail to entertain we’re looking forward to this one, so for an added treat – we’re good to you – we’ve included a featurette of Lea Michelle, Megan Hilty (China Princess) and Bernadette Peters (Glinda the Good Witch) talking about their roles and excitement for the project. So what are you waiting for? Check out the images and video below and prepare to go to Oz all over again:
DOROTHY OF OZ is currently tentatively scheduled for release 2013.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
