He can be Hollywood’s equivalent of Marmite but Wes Anderson is in my eyes a bit of a genius. These new stills from his upcoming film MOONRISE KINGDOM make us think that, happily, nothing has changed. The film follows two loved up 12-year-olds as they run away from home into the wilderness and the ensuing hunt.
Full of quirky imagery and lots of colour they show everything that is right (or wrong) with Anderson’s films.
MOONRISE KINGDOM is released on 25th May and stars Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, along with Anderson regulars Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray and looks a treat.
