Check out this brand new red band trailer of stills of TED, the directorial debut from FAMILY GUY creator Seth MacFarlane. The film tells the story of a boy and his teddy bear, or rather in this case, grown man John (Mark Wahlberg) whose childhood bear has come to life as the result of a childhood wish. But Ted is no ordinary bear (voiced by MacFarlane, he sounds uncannily like a certain Peter Griffin), in fact he’s a pot-smoking, foul-mouthed, woman-chasing reprobate. All of which is well and good – and is sure to raise some big laughs – though Ted is a big problem for John’s girlfriend Lori (longtime MacFarlane collaborator Mila Kunis) who wishes he’d let Ted go and move on with his life.
TED also stars Patrick Warburton, Ralph Garman, and Giovanni Ribisi. It arrives in UK cinemas 3rd August 2012.
Check out the new trailer and images below, with first class sweary bear action.
