MIB III: First Look At Rick Baker’s Aliens

New behind-the-scenes stills have emerged of make-up effects artist, Rick Baker’s magnificently detailed work on the extraterrestrial characters from the upcoming film, MEN IN BLACK III. They depict Baker working his magic on an array of strange beings, from aliens with a basic humanoid structure, to the more outlandish and extreme forms, like the fishy character below.

The sequel sees the return of Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith as Agent K and Agent J, respectively, as well as new additions to the cast including Jemaine Clement (GENTLEMEN BRONCOS) and Josh Brolin (TRUE GRIT). A strong supporting cast, including Emma Thompson (AN EDUCATION), Alice Eve (BIG NOTHING), Bill Hader (SUPERBAD), Rip Torn (DODGEBALL) and Michael Stuhlbarg (A SERIOUS MAN), will be orchestrated by Barry Sonnenfeld, who also returns to the director’s chair for the third time. The sci-fi action comedy – distributed by Columbia Pictures – will be the first of the franchise to have been shot and released in 3d, and will be opening in UK cinemas on May 25th of this year.

The plot involves Agent J going back in time to 1969 and meeting up with the young Agent K, played by Josh Brolin, in an attempt to prevent his old friend from being assassinated (watch the trailer here).
