We’ve just seen the teaser trailer for David Cronenberg’s new project COSMOPOLIS and we assure you, you’ve never seen Pattinson quite like this and we’re all the more intrigued. Anyone who knows film, will know that Cronenberg liked to explore worlds of desires and secrets and will be happy to delve into the depths of a dark imagination. Based on the novel by Don DeLillo, COSMOPOLIS follows Eric Packer (Pattinson), a multimillionaire on a 24-hour odyssey across Manhattan and looks set to take the TWILIGHT actor into a very different place indeed.
This isn’t safe for work viewing or for those with a mind of a sensitive nature as it contains graphic sex, violence and other bizarre occurrences and had a David Lynch vibe to it. We’re eager for the eventual outcome but first have a look for yourselves:
COSMOPOLIS also stars Samantha Morton, Jay Baruchel, Paul Giamatti and Juliette Binoche. It’s currently awaiting a UK release date.
