Creepy New Poster For Lovely Molly

A new poster has been revealed online for Eduardo Sanchez’ new horror thriller LOVELY MOLLY.

Sanchez, who directed supreme cult film THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (1999), has made sure that Molly isn’t so lovely, evident in the poster which features below. In the film, Molly Reynolds, a newlywed (you know something bad is going to happen…) returns to the childhood home she grew up in only to find that evil still lingers there. She slips deeper and deeper into the secrets of the house, only to cross the line between being psychotic and being possessed.

Since the success of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, it seems that Sanchez has been trying to bleed that stone dry – with sequels CURSE OF THE BLAIR WITCH (1999) and BLAIR WITCH 3 (TBC). His other endeavours into film seem to be of the horror genre and this will be no exception. It’s now just a question of whether he’ll stick to the conventions of the genre or pull something new out of the bag.

LOVELY MOLLY, directed by Eduardo Sanchez and starring Gretchen Lodge, Johnny Lewis and Alexandra Holden, is set for release in May, 2012.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
