Arguably the most eagerly-awaited film of the year is now less than a fortnight away. We have already been treated to a huge number of images, clips, trailers and television spots (click the links to see the most recent), yet Gary Ross’ THE HUNGER GAMES still feels fresh and mysterious. Most tent-pole movies usually bombard fans well in advance of the films release, leaving the viewer with a sense of ‘there cant be much left to see’. The team behind THE HUNGER GAMES’ promotional campaign deserve kudos for that alone.
This morning, we have a 6 minute featurette, giving us behind-the-scenes look at the big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins literal blockbuster. Take a look and enjoy!
THE HUNGER GAMES hits cinemas 23rd March and stars the Oscar-nominated Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
