Soon to be seen as Batman’s latest nemesis in Christopher Nolan’s sure-to-be-masterpiece THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, Tom Hardy is fast becoming a actor to watch. In fact Hardy has just signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. to headline and produce an intriguing sounding project, that will see the WARRIOR and INCEPTION star as an ‘outlaw biker’.
Very little is known about the film, other than Hardy will play a returning Vietnam Veteran and leader of a violent Californian biker gang during 1969. The script comes from VACANCY’s Mark L. Smith, who has adapted an original idea from producer John Linson.
It is unsure as to when shooting will start, as Hardy is soon-to-begin filming George Miller’s MAD MAX: FURY ROAD with Charlize Theron.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
