Tim Burton returns with a adaptation of 60s cult television hit DARK SHADOWS this summer, and here we have a few close up images of the major players in the film. Once again Burton is back with Johnny Depp (working together for the ninth time!) in the gothic-supernatural tale of Barnabus Collins, who after breaking the heart of his witch lover Angelique, has a curse placed upon him – to live forever as a vampire and buried alive. He is awoken after two centuries and must adapt to modern life alongside his equally strange family members as well as the the ‘still angry’ sweetheart who caused his rather awkward predicament. Take a look.
DARK SHADOWS will debut in cinemas 11th May and co-stars Eva Green, Jonny Lee Miller, Michelle Pfieffer, Jackie Earl Haley, Chole Moretz, Helena Bonham-Carter and Christopher Lee.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
