THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST and THE COUNT MONTE CRISTO actor Jim Caveizel will join the cast of action-thriller THE TOMB. The film, being directed by 1408 and THE RITE helmer Mikael Hafstrom, will see Sylvester Stallone’s Ray Breslin framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Breslin is a structural designer of maximum security prisons, and soon finds himself being sent to one of the many prisons he made escape-proof – THE TOMB. Once there, Breslin obsesses over finding a way out and finding those responsible for his incarceration.
Caviezel will take the role of the prison Warden, who in most prison epics, are often seen as the villain. It is currently unclear what role Schwarzenegger will take.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
