Fans of Tim Burton’s fantastical films will no doubt be intrigued to see what he does with this darkly comic Gothic-horror, based on the 60s and 70s television hit. The focus is Johnny Depp’s Barnabus Collins, who after being turned into a vampire and buried alive by his witch lover, must deal with a changed world when is inadvertently awoken from his tomb, two centuries later. Here we have a new photo featuring Depp and Eva Green, who plays his broken-hearted supernatural sweetheart, Angelique Bouchard.
Depp and Green will be joined on DARK SHADOWS by Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Bella Heathcote, Chloë Moretz and Gulliver McGrath. The film has been written by ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER’s Seth Grahame-Smith and will be in cinemas 11th May.
