BLUE CRUSH and INTO THE BLUE director John Stockwell returns with this shark-infested film starring Oscar-winner Halle Berry and S.W.A.T.’s Olivier Martinez. DARK TIDE sees a professional diving tutor (Ralph Brown) return to the very waters he suffered a horrific shark attack years earlier. It’s a decision comes back to haunt him when he takes a holidaying couple on an underwater expedition, leading to familiar terrifying events.
Here is the rather drab poster for the film which is due in cinemas sometime this year (although there is no release date as yet). Surely impossible to match Spielberg’s masterful JAWS, it certainly cant be any worse than last years SHARK NIGHT, could it?

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
