Poster For Ewan McGregor In ‘Salmon Fishing In The Yemen’

Here’s the first poster for the film adaptation of Paul Torday’s best-selling novel SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN. It may seem like a random title but it’s set to be high in the feel-good factor and stars Brits Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott-Thomas . It follows fisheries expert Fred Jones (McGregor) after he’s approached by consultant Harriet Chetwode-Talbot (Blunt) as she tries to realise a sheik’s vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert.

Directed by Lasse Hallström who previously directed CHOCOLAT, the screenplay was written by SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE scribe Simon Beaufoy. It’s set for release in the UK on April 20th, here’s your poster:
