Providing negotiations do not fall through, Kinnear and Connelly will reunite – having starred opposite each other in SALVATION BOULEVARD –  to play a divorced couple in Josh Boone’s feature directorial debut, WRITERS. The Indie production, for which Boone has also written the original screenplay, will focus on the complex relationship between the pair, as well as their student daughter and teenage son.

The production will begin filming in March, and will be produced by Judy Cairo of Informant Media, whose previous credits include HYSTERIA and CRAZY HEART.

Kinnear’s upcoming film releases include comedy, THIN ICE; in which he collaborates once more with his LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE co-star, Alan Arkin.

Conversely, WRITERS will be Connelly’s first appearance on the big screen since last year’s THE DILEMMA due to the birth of her daughter, Agnes, in May of last year; her third child, and second with her British actor-husband, Paul Bettany.

Kinnear, Connelly and Boone are all represented by the talent agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
