Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL has an already-impressive cast who will portray many of the iconic characters from the DC comic-book. Now we have confirmation that another actress will join the cast, portraying the young Lana Lang, will be 13-year-old Jadin Gould.
The character is known to many as Clark Kent’s childhood sweetheart, growing up in the same small town of Smallville with the Krytonian superhero. Jadin Gould has appeared in many television hit shows, such as THE MENTALIST and CHUCK, and previously appeared on the big-screen in Jonathan Liebesman’s BATTLE: LOS ANGELES. Lang, (previously played by Annette O’Toole), featured prominently in SUPERMAN III after Margot Kidder’s infamous battles with drugs and alcohol saw her involvement as Lois Lane significantly reduced.
MAN OF STEEL is currently shooting and stars Henry Cavill, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon and Amy Adams. The film is scheduled for release 14th June 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
