Just as everyone became tired of ridiculing the STAR WARS prequels and moved on to badmouthing 3D, George Lucas the Hutt decides to re-release the buggers. In 3D. George is either a sucker for punishment or a rampant sadomasochist, bent on inflicting us former true believers with his digital voodoo.
Regardless, moan all we want, it’s likely most of us will pay hard-earned cash to relive the trauma three-dimensionally. Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side.
Here’s five new posters for STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE, which arrives in UK cinemas 9th February 2012.
