We don’t usually post that many fan trailers here on the site, but we thought we’d make an exception for this one. A hugely talented fan has put the following trailer together for a potential Jurassic Park II using footage from the original 1993 movie and what looks to be some from the Bruce Willis-led Tears Of The Sun, his hugely under-rated 2003 movie, directed by Antoine Fuqua. Watch the Jurassic Park 2 fan trailer in the player at the bottom of the post.
Pitched at what appears to be Jurassic Park by way of Predator, the trailer alludes to a film we’d certainly stand in line to see.
Of course, back in 1997 we were ‘treated’ to a very lackluster sequel to Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original, adapted from the source material by Michael Crichton. The Lost World: Jurassic Park, far from set the world on alight, even though it took nearly $620 million at the worldwide box-office.
Still, we did eventually get Jurassic World, which certainly did make fans happy nearly two decades later – the Jurassic Park sequel we all deserved, and one which made nearly three times as much money as ‘The Lost World.’
Take a look at Rich Williamson‘s Jurassic Park 2 fan trailer in the player below. We’re sure you’ll dig it as much as we did.
