Here is a look at the first image from the upcoming STEP UP 4, set to hit the cinema screens on 27th July 2012.
STEP UP 4 continues the popular franchise of the STEP UP movies, this time setting its dance routines in the vibrant city of Miami. Emily, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, arrives in Miami with dreams of becoming a professional dancer. Her aspirations get side-tracked when she falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs, called MOB. The dance crew strives to win a contest for a major sponsorship opportunity, but things soon get complicated when Emily’s successful father threatens to take over and develop MOB’s historic neighbourhood, displacing thousands of people. Emily joins forces with Sean and the MOB, turning the dance teams into protest mobs and fighting for the greater cause.
The film is directed by Scott Speer and written by Jenny Mayer, with Kathryn McCormick, Ryan Guzman and Stephen Boss in the lead roles of the dancers.
