Shame To Preview At UK Cinemas Next Tuesday, 10th January, Along With Live Q+A With Steve McQueen And Abi Morgan

Ahead of its release at cinemas nationwide on Friday 13th January, the acclaimed SHAME, starring Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan, will receive special preview screenings at UK cinemas, along with a live Q+A with director Steve McQueen and writer Abi Morgan, next Tuesday, 10th January. 68 cinemas to be exact. There’s sure to be one near you, so check out the list at the bottom of the page.

The Q+A will be broadcast live from the Curzon cinema in Mayfair, and audiences will also be able to submit questions to the film-makers via the film’s Twitter account @Shamefilm.

Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a 30-something man living comfortably in New York balancing a busy job and active social life.

When the wayward Sissy (Carey Mulligan), turns up at his apartment unannounced, Brandon’s carefully managed lifestyle spirals out of control.

SHAME is a compelling and timely examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us.

Here is the list of cinemas where the special screening and Q+A is showing. Contact your local cinema for more info.
