Jason Mitchell, the actor who starred in last year’s superb Straight Outta Compton, and Boyhood’s Ellar Coltrane have joined the cast of the young Barack Obama biopic Barry, so reports Variety.

The film concentrates on the President-to-be’s college days in the 1980s, and will be written by Adam Mansbach.
There’s no word over at the trade as to who the two actors will be playing in the film, which will be directed by Vikram Gandhi.
