The premiere for the latest installment of the action franchise MISSION IMPOSSIBLE took place at the massive IMAX cinemas in Waterloo, London this evening. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL, a film which I managed to catch last week (review coming very soon), is set to open in UK cinemas on Boxing Day. Tom Cruise stars alongside Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway, Tom Wilkinson and Lea Seydou. It is directed by Brad Bird, and most of the ‘talent’ turned up at the venue earlier on on Tuesday evening.
It seems that the big story to come out of the evening is the news that Tom Cruise wants to do a movie with David Beckham. The Cruiser told one reporter: “I’d love to do action movies with Beckham. He would be great, he could kick ass.”
Ahem, very interesting.
