Winona Ryder will join stars Michael Shannon and Chris Evans in new movie THE ICEMAN, directed by Ariel Vromen. The movie is a drama based on the Anthony Bruno book about Richard Kuklinski, who was a family man with a double life – in secret he carried out contract killings for the mafia.

Ryder will play Deborah, Kuklinski’s wife, who was unaware of her husband’s secret as a contract killer, while Chris Evans is set in the role of his mentor, Robert Pronge. Shannon will play Kuklinksi, otherwise known as The Iceman, who got his nickname after he started disguising the time of death of his victims by freezing their corpses. Ryder has recently finished up the indie film THE STARE alongside co-star is James Franco.
