Hot off the press thanks to ShameFilm on Twitter is the brand new poster for SHAME. This provocative film is by director Steve McQueen who’s previous movie HUNGER challenged the boundaries of modern film with a powerful portrayal of the true story Northern Irish republican Bobby Sands as he led a hunger strike at the infamous Long Kesh Maze Prison.
SHAME stars Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan and is set in New York City. Fassbender plays Brandon who leads a carefully planned private life which enables him to indulge his sex addiction. Suddenly, his world is disrupted when his sister Cissy (Mulligan) arrives unexpectedly for an indefinite visit.
SHAME is released in the UK on January 13th and is sure to be controversial but quite necessary viewing.
