Cameron Crowe has previously given us ALMOST FAMOUS and the quote-filled JERRY MAGUIRE and today has seen the release of the international trailer for WE BOUGHT A ZOO. If you know Crowe’s work then we are sure to expect a few definite things, a fight to make something better out of ordinary moments, some great actors getting involved and also the intriguing confirmation of Sigur Ros composing the soundtrack.
WE BOUGHT A ZOO is based on the true events of Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon), who decides that his family needs a new start. On their search for somewhere new, they end up taking on…a zoo. With the help of all kinds of different people, most likely with stories to tell, they try to re-build the Zoo to its former glory. Now, I’m confident to say that this will be a feel-good film and although some films like this can fall into the world of cliché, we do believe that Cameron Crowe offers something extra to tell with a heartfelt tale.
WE BOUGHT A ZOO stars Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, Elle Fanning, John Michael Higgins and is due for a March 2012 release. Here’s your trailer:
