WRATH OF THE TITANS isn’t even in theatres yet, but that hasn’t stopped Warner Bros giving the greenlight to a third installment, the second sequel to last year’s lukewarm CLASH OF THE TITANS.
Warner Bros clearly have confidence in the Greek Myth-inspired series, having enlisted WRATH writers Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson to pen a threequel. It’s no surpise, however, considering that the Louis Leterrier-directed CLASH – itself a remake – grossed $330 million worldwide. WRATH director Jonathan Liebesman would apprently consider returning for the third installment if the upcoming sequel is well received.
WRATH OF THE TITANS stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Hustion, Bill Nighy, Edgar Ramirez, and Rosamund Pike. it arrives in cinemas 30th March 2012.
