John Cusack adds ‘Numbers’ thriller
John Cusack has joined the upcoming film “Numbers Station” directed by Kasper Barfoed. Also involved in the project is Malin Akerman. The producers of the project are Furst Film’s Sean and Bryan Furst of “Daybreakers” fame and Nigel Thomas from Matador pictures.
Cusack will play a disgraced black-ops agent tasked with the lowly task of protecting a code operator for an isolated CIA broadcast station played by Akerman. An interesting action project for Cusack.
Filming will start in mid November.
Cusack’s upcoming films include THE PAPER BOY , FROZEN GROUND and THE RAVEN; while Akerman’s are “WANDERLUST and “ROCK OF AGES.”
