Directors Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh present a film based on an actual Navy Seals mission. ACT OF VALOR will star Roselyn Sanchez, Emilio Rivera and Nestor Serrano. It is taken from a script penned by Kirk Johnstad.
The film tells the gripping tale of an elite squad of Navy Seals as they embark on a convert mission to track down the whereabouts of CIA agent and save him.
The film looks interesting in so much that it brags it will tell a fairly accurate tale of the tactics and weapons used by the Navy Seals. Of course it will be dramatised with over the top explosions but it has the potential to give a moderately accurate insight into how the Seals might carry out a mission of this nature. Other interesting selling points like the fact the film is portrayed by active U.S Navy Seals also make for an interesting watch.
Cinema-goers also interested in war tactics might well be interested in a trip down to their local theater on the 17th February 2012 to check it out upon release.
