Trailer: Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur

Here’s the new trailer for TYRANOSAUR, the feature, directorial debut from actor Paddy Considine (SUBMARINE).

The story of Joseph, a man plagued by violence and a rage that is driving him to self-destruction. As his life spirals into turmoil a chance of redemption appears in the form of Hannah, a Christian charity shop worker. But the relationship reveals that Hannah is hiding her own secret with devastating consequences.

The film is extremely violent, but looks to off-balance this with a strong emotional core. Whether it can walk this fine line is unknown but the trailer sure makes it look like it does.

The film stars Peter Mullan (CHILDREN OF MEN), one of the finest Scottish (and British) actors working today, followed by Olivia Colman (PEEP SHOW) and Eddie Marsan (THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED), another incredibly impressive actor. Overall the film looks great with some fantastic acting. Another film to look out for on October 7th 2011.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
