The first trailer for the Victorian era set comedy HYSTERIA has made its way onto the web. The film stars quite a good ensemble cast in the form of Hugh Dancy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jonathan Pryce, Rupert Everett, Gemma Jones and Felicity Jones. It is set to play at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), for which this trailer was debuted.
HYSTERIA is a romantic comedy set in Victorian London based on the surprising truth of how Mortimer Granville (Hugh Dancy) came up with the world’s first electro-mechanical vibrator in the name of medical science.
The film is directed by Tania Wexler, who is actually the half sister of one Daryll Hannah…
Looks funny. Tell me, what do you know of hysteria…
