Bradley Cooper drops out of The Crow remake

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper has apparently dropped the remake of THE CROW from his mounting list of upcoming projects. The reason for leaving the project is apparently down to scheduling conflicts between the Juan Carlos Fresnadillo directed film and the Alex Proyas (yep, THE CROW) directed PARADISE LOST, both of which were due to start filming in the early part of 2012. Cooper plays the role of Lucifer in the latter movie, a role to be motion-captured.

Possibly replacements for the role of THE CROW include both Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The flick, based on the James O’Barr graphic novel film tells the story of Eric Draven, who returns from the grave to avenge the death of his wife.

I personally think that this is a good move for Cooper. When we met up with him on his recent trip to London, he didnlt really have a lot to say about the project.

How far down the road are you with THE CROW?

You know I’m not sure where we are with that.

Are you still commited to it?

It was never something like that. Things kinda got traction on the Internet, but I’m not sure where that is.

Brandon Lee can never be replaced; they have already tried and failed!! I will still give it a chance, though.
