HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON was a corker of a film, considered by many to be the best offering from Dreamworks. It’s so good, it could almost a Pixar film. Well, it seems Broadway agrees. We say Broadway, we mean Melbourne, Australia (to-may-to, to-mar-to). For here is early footage from the staggering live action show, based on that very film.
If you’ve seen WALKING WITH DINOSAURS, you’ll be familiar with the look and feel of the amazing work herein. And even so, just LOOK at it! Makes SHREK THE MUSICAL look like pure ogre balls (although that wasn’t difficult). The show is set to open in Oz during March 2012, before touring Americain June.
John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
