Brit actor Billy Murray has landed a role in the upcoming action thriller ONE IN THE CHAMBER. Murray is set to play the boss of hitman-with-a-conscience Cuba Gooding Jr. Murray will also star alongside Dolph Lundgren, who was a principal player in last year’s THE EXPENDABLES. ONE IN THE CHAMBER follows assassin Ray Carver (Gooding Jr), who finds himself drawn into an underground mafia war, and becomes the target of an unknown enemy.
Murray is a key player with indie production studio Black and Blue Films, and has just wrapped shooting on their latest feature STRIPPERS VS WEREWOLVES. Speaking about his upcoming role as a mysterious gangland boss, he said: ‘He’s a kind of father figure to the assassins on his books. It’s a great script and I’m thrilled to be working opposite Cuba Gooding Junior. I’m also a big fan of the Rocky movies, so I’m really looking forward to meeting Dolph Lundgren’.
