Jennifer Garner is all set to play Miss Marple in a new movie based on the iconic character, created by Agatha Christie. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Surely Ms. Garner is far to young to play the elderly spinster you’re thinking, right? Well, according to Deadline, the new movie will focus in on the character when she was in her 30’s to 40’s. The famous part-time detective from the English village of St. Mary Mead and solves mysteries as a hobby.
The film is set up over at Disney, and according to Mike Fleming over at Deadline, Garner and her Vandalia Films partner Juliana Janes will produce.
Garner will next be seen in the remake of ARTHUR, which is released next month.
