Bradley Cooper, he who was Face in the recent Joe Carnahan directed film version of THE A-TEAM, is in town to promote his new film LIMITLESS, in which he stars opposite Robert De Niro (we’re off to the premiere tomorrow – woo hoo). Whilst doing the publicity rounds, the very attractive actor stopped off at the Empire offices for a chat where he spoke to fans who were able to literally ‘ask him anythin’. One such person piped up with the following: Any news on the A-Team 2? Will there be one? I thought it was great and my friends felt the same.”
Face said the following in reply: “I loved it too. But unfortunately, outside of you, a few of your friends and myself, there just wasn’t enough revenue to supply a second installment of that franchise.”
Empire analized the data: “If you look at the numbers, the US haul clocked in at $77 million, and the rest of the world, $100 million. Its budget was $110, so there’s $67 million there to pay for all the marketing (and there was a lot).”
Well, if it helps… I like it.
