First Peek at Luc Besson’s A MONSTER IN PARIS

Well the headline is slightly misleading as the new animated film A MONSTER IN PARIS is one of many films only produced by Luc Besson but still is something that should be looked out for.

A 3D-animated movie set in Paris in the year 1910 and centered on a monster who lives in a garden and his love for a beautiful, young singer. Paris.

The film is directed by Bibo Bergeron the man behind SHARK TALE and THE ROAD TO EL DORADO so the film might not be the best. TO make matters worse the film has also had it’s release date rescheduled a number of times but the film looks good and sounds good. A MONSTER IN PARIS features voice talent from Adam Goldberg (THE UNUSUALS), Catherine O’Hara (HOME ALONE) and Danny Houston (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE). The film is due out October 19th 2011 in France, below are some concept stills so you can get a flavour for the film.

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
