There have been a few rumours circulating on the internet this weekend regarding Chris Nolan’s upcoming sequel to The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, which starts shooting later this year. Now, one of these rumours is the that the recently ‘attached’ Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is going to play the character of Robin in the film.
The source of this rumour seems to be Michigan’s WILX News, who report that Nolan has been scouting locations in Grand Ledge’s Fitzgerald Park for a location for Robin’s hideout. Officials report that crew members were looking at the water treatment plant inside the park.
Wow! Now, Batman On Film have said otherwise, saying that Robin has no part in the third film in Nolan’s series, so they have zero idea as to where this rumour started.
There is the thing that Batman himself Christian Bale has said that he will have no more involvement in the series if Robin appears.

They were actually scouting locations for a new sitcom spin-off called ‘Robin’s Lair’ starring Chris O’Donnell, a lá Joey presumably. Burt Ward is to cameo.
