The above image is the first peek at the main line-up in the upcoming Matthew Vaughn film X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. Here’s the official synopsis;
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.
The image shows from left to right Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Dr Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne), Emma Frost/The White Queen (January Jones), Azazel (Jason Flemyng), Hank McCoy/Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Alex Summers/Havok (Lucas Till), Angel Savadore (Zoe Kravitz), Raven Darkholme/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and finally Professor X (James McAvoy).
Its good that we can get a good and official look at the line-up with costumes included. More images and one-sheets will most likely be coming into the offices along with the trailer in the next couple of weeks/month.
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS comes out 2 June 2011.
Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
