Houston Critics Choose “The Social Network” as Best Picture

It’s all looking good for THE SOCIAL NETWORK as the David Fincher-directed movie wins yet more awards. The Houston Film Critics Society announced their picks for 2010 on Saturday, and the Facebook film scooped Best Picture, again.

Jessie Eisenberg and David Fincher also managed to bag the Best Actor and Best Director awards for the film (respectively), while BLACK SWAN’s Natalie Portman won Best Actress. Check out the full list of 2010 winners below…

Best Picture: THE SOCIAL NETWORK
Best Director: David Fincher, THE SOCIAL NETWORK
Best Actor: Jesse Eisenberg, THE SOCIAL NETWORK
Best Actress: Natalie Portman, BLACK SWAN
Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale, THE FIGHTER
Best Supporting Actress: Hailee Steinfeld, TRUE GRIT
Best Screenplay: Aaron Sorkin, THE SOCIAL NETWORK
Best Animated Film: TOY STORY 3
Best Cinematography: Wally Pfister, INCEPTION
Best Documentary: RESTREPO
Best Foreign Film: THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO
Best Original Score: Hans Zimmer, INCEPTION
Best Original Song: “We are Sex Bob-Omb!” from SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, music & lyrics by Beck

Worst Film of the Year: JONAH HEX

Humanitarian of the Year Award: George Clooney
Lifetime Achievement Award: Sissy Spacek
Cinematic Achievement: Charles Dove
Cinematic Achievement: Hector Luna
