If there was anyone more suited to directing a movie based on the TV series 24, then it’s Tony Scott. High-octane, split screens, crazy editing and action packed to the rafters. Well, it seems that the British helmer has an idea for a feature version of the real-time show that starred Kiefer Sutherland as Agent Jack Bauer.
The news of the possible interest of Scott was mentioned by executive producer Howard Gordon in an interview with AssignmentX.
”The movie is something that right now I’m not engaged or involved in. The rumors are that [director] Tony Scott has an idea that he is going to run it by or has run it by Kiefer Sutherland. I don’t know what the status of it is.” Gordon said to the site.
So, a Tony Scott 24 movie? What do you think?
