Courtesy of the folks over at LoveFilm, here is the first poster for the upcoming drama THE KING’S SPEECH. The film stars Colin Firth (in a reportely Oscar worthy performance), Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter.
Tom Hooper directs from a script by David Seidler.
The film is story of King George VI , his impromptu ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch become worthy of it.

The King’s Speech is the kind of well-acted, handsomely mounted, British period piece that seems more meaningful while you’re watching it than it actually is. That, however, doesn’t make it any less entertaining.
